The error: unable to export to excel from QuickBooks  may be caused by faulty Microsoft Excel software. The QuickBooks Desktop was improperly installed. If you are unable to export to Excel from QuickBooks Desktop 2023, there could be several possible reasons:

Compatibility: Ensure that your version of QuickBooks Desktop 2023 is compatible with the version of Microsoft Excel installed on your computer. If there is a compatibility issue, you may need to update either QuickBooks or Excel.

Incorrect Excel settings: Check your Excel settings to ensure that they allow for the export of data from QuickBooks. Make sure macros and add-ins are not causing conflicts with the export process.

QuickBooks or Excel update required: Ensure that both QuickBooks and Excel are updated to their latest versions. Outdated software can sometimes cause compatibility issues and prevent exporting.

Note: Microsoft Office versions appropriate to each edition of QuickBooks Desktop are compatible. Check the system requirements for the 2021, 2022, or 2023 versions of QuickBooks. You’ll have to upgrade if your current version of Microsoft Office is incompatible.

Damaged QuickBooks or Excel installation: If the installation of QuickBooks or Excel is damaged or incomplete, it can lead to export issues. Try repairing or reinstalling the affected software to resolve any underlying problems.

If you are still not able to export your data from QB desktop or QuickBooks online then you should connect with the technical support team. (I can recommend the QB support I used to call here, this is their number toll-free number: +1-(855)-955-1942.)
